SDL Tridion sites 9 Public Content API With GraphQL - Part 2

This is the continuation of my previous blog. (Also you can check this if you want to understand how to access Tridion public content API while OAuth is enabled).


Today I am going to share some useful complex query which will help you to do certain operations while querying.


Let’s start with a simple one – Get Keyword using GraphQL


Now let's play with filter. Here is an example to retrieve items based on item type -


Similarly you can retrieve Components based on Custom Metadata -


Also you can perform AND / OR operation while retrieving items based on Custom metadata -


I have already shared an example of retrieving pages. Using below query you can sort the result based on your requirement -


The sorting operation can be performed over the following fields (click here for more details):

  • CREATION_DATE

  • INITIAL_PUBLISH_DATE

  • ITEM_ID

  • ITEM_TYPE

  • LAST_PUBLISH_DATET

  • NAMESPACE_ID

  • OWNING_PUBLICATION_ID

  • PUBLICATION_ID

  • TITLE

  • UPDATED_DATE
